Victorian Walnut Banquet/Dining Table. Large solid walnut banquet size table has six (6) leaves and opens to 10 feet. Without leaves it becomes a 47.5 inch round table. Five (5) ring and ball turned and faceted baluster tapered legs on peg feet with iron casters. Tabletop has been refinished. Legs & apron have been refurbished. Four (4) of the six  leaves are new solid walnut leaves color matched to the rest of the table top.  Some dings and dents on top provide character and were not removed. Table sags slightly in the middle (less than 5/8 of an inch difference between end and middle, hey, its old) but is tight as apron and legs have been re-glued. Table top ends appear to be steamed walnut with little to no dark/light variation, while leaves are unsteamed with light sapwood and contrasting darker heartwood, however, color is uniform throughout table top and is quite beautiful in appearance (see photos). Amber in color w satin finish. Ca.: mid/late 1800’s. Dimensions/Weight: 120W (extended) 47.5W(closed)x47.5Dx30H (23.6 inches from floor to bottom of apron). Each leaf is approximately 12W. /154lbs. #DT031509FF1
